Neg!

This is one of the years where the Vernal Equinox falls on the 21st (every year following a leap year, if I'm not mistaken).

So you have an extra day to get better, VegaVixen.

Anyway, if the trees have anything to say about it, Spring started here about 2 weeks ago.

I'm gonna work for a little while, then go take a nap. I have so much to do, and deadlines looming, but I simply feel lousy.

It may not be officially spring but don't tell that to the plants, trees and grass around here. Trees are green, plants are growing and green sprigs of bermuda grass are coming up through the brown, dormant stuff. It's a month too early for this. I had to mow yesterday and I've never mowed before the middle to end of April. Funniest thing about it is the temperatures haven't really been warm. We had ice on the ground three weeks ago.

Weird. So to you, March is both a Winter month and a Spring month? How bizarre...

This is the US of A, buddy, attempting to apply common sense and simplicity to a whopping 230 years of tradition unimpeded by common sense will always thwart and confuse smarty-pants foreigners like you.

Yep, you get used to it though. The seasonal changes are tied to the Equinoxes and solistices of the annual cycle.
