BDG, If you're thinking of visiting Pennsylvania, you might look into the Route 6 tour- it's supposed to be awesome. I keep trying to do it, but something always seems to get in the way. Maybe this summer. Anyway, it's 400 miles of sheer beauty, most of cyclable. here's the link: http://www.paroute6.com/

If you do it, I want to hear all about it!

    BDG,
ever ride in Vermont? Real pretty. A few years ago we parked in Burlington, took the ferry over to NY, and rode around the lower half of the lake. Very nice trip.

Middlebury is a nice town for a bike trip, it has a good restaurant, bike shop and movie theater within a stone's throw.

Stowe is nice, and has a pretty intense climb north of town.

Acadia National Park is another thought, we have ridden up there several times.
Last time we got dropped off there, and rode back down the coast.

You two could join the Southeast BF ride on May 19-20, NC mountains. Some beautiful scenery to look at while you experience the pain of the climb.

Check out the regional thread: SEBF organized ride poll........

I'm really seriously thinking of packing up my bike and going on a road trip this summer for a few days, maybe with my long time partner in crime ( my girlfriend)
It would be the first time I actually go somewhere withought my kids or hubby in 20 years.
I need that, I really want to do this!
Went to Maine with my Uncle Mike and cousin matt.
