Clogs w/shorts - yay! or nay..?

So, i love my super comfy Birks' and my GF seems to believe that you can NOT wear them with shorts. Whats your take? Yes, or no!

Oh, and since the primary function of shorts is comfort and not fashion, I can't see why they wouldn't make anything but a spec-****ing-taculary great combination with comforable footware...

That is, of course, if you're girlfriend is good looking, sex-crazy, and is otherwise fun to be around. If that's the case, do what she says.

Who was it who said that wearing Birkies with shorts and driving a Ford Windstar are your way of saying, "I give up"?

Was that you, pup?

Nope clogs are very good shoe to wear if you are on your feet all day. However I vote for Teva and shorts over clog and shorts.

+1 The shoe has to be able to stay on my feet without me constantly worrying about it falling off

ABC. "Anything But Crocs"

I don't care how comfortable they might be, they are only appropriate for girls under the age of 10. And maybe explody pup.

Clogs and shorts are fine.

Just don't do cowboy boots and shorts.

If you have clogs and shorts you have major problems. Call a plumber and an electrician and try not to stand in the puddles or use anything electrical.

I wear Birkenstocks (sandals, not clogs) with shorts and white socks while driving a Honda Odyssey. Yeah, I've pretty much given up.

Seems like the young girls like to wear these plastic clogs.

They must be comfortable but plastic shoes would make for a sweaty foot.

For those who claim clogs are for girls, have obviously never worked in any type of kitchen

Oh and no clogs don't go with shorts...

It's not the clogs, it's the shorts!

Shorts are horrible on men. I do see the appeal (from a comfort perspective), and I've worn them on some occasions as well, but I seriously try to avoid them.

How come American and Aussie men are OK with shorts, but they are semi-taboo in Europe and other countries? Is it against religious law for men to show their knees and calves in public or something?

No, I think the shorts from the 70's should come back into style for men.
