Nah, the botto crusade is over, and that point's been made. I just thought it was a funny photochop...

I guess I just grew tired of the "cycling-related" (and I use that term VERY loosely) discussion that everyone seemed hell-bent on preserving and realized that there are some folks on the forum who I just enjoy communicating with. So here I am.

botto = BF member, friend, artist, strong rider, and masterful pusher of the proverbial buttons. He was banned for some of said button-pushing.

Dr. Pete! Good to see you over here in Foo! That roadie forum can get pretty stuffy sometimes. I haven't been following the Botto saga too closely, is he ever coming back?

He's actually un-banned, and I've been e-mailing back and forth with him over the week. He'll post when he's good and ready, I suppose...

Yet another on the list of roadie forum regulars who have been left a bit disenchanted by the past week's events...

+100 It has sure saved me. <serious Vega look>

And after that, I just kept hangin' around. I tried to leave, Pete, but it's not possible. As the song says, "You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave."

Welcome, again, to Foo.

Include me but for other reasons then the closed thread. That didnt bother me in the least. When you make a thread about another forum member where he gets attacked by many, it is againts forum guidelines anyway and therfore should of been closed.
people I used to admire have lost that admiration from me.
the people i feared the most when i first join are the ones with the frailest ego and the back bone of a little girl.
Some worry way too much about thier online egos and forget how to treat friends with respect when they are in certain clicks. Ive seen 20 somethings act more mature then 40 something.

It's going to take me a while to feel the excitment I used to feel when I was in there.

Hey Pete, good to see you over on the lighter side of things here in Foo. I've been a bit beat down by the road forums this last week too, but it's always fun to come back to Foo and see 5 threads about the sense of smell. Just can't help but laught and slowly shake your head when you see that kind of stuff.

Here's a nice cold for you. Pull up a chair and make some popcorn, and have some fun.

+100 I do venture in, but with no expectation of useful feedback. I do hear a lot of "unzippin'," though. Odd, for guys who claim they don't like/want to look at the next guy at the urinal.
