He's fine, just a broken bike. (What I mean is, his body is okay) But it still sucks.

DrPete's Pinarello F4:13, R.I.P June 20th 2007.

New project : Choco Charm. Frame is a late 70's or early 80's Trek. Most probialy reynolds 501 tubing since it is too heavy to be 531. Painted yesterday.

Luckily I have a great shop sponsoring me and I was able to be back up and running within 36 hours of the crash... This is my ride while the Pinarello's off at the hospital.

My long awaited love. Frame handbuilt by Moots - components, wheels and set up carefully selected and hand built by my nephew from Vecchios. http://www.vecchios.com/

A few of my bikes. In MY area. Don't mess with Jon's area. If anyones going to have tools everywhere and soda spilled, it's going to be ME.

Wow, you have the gates of heaven and/or hell outside your garage? Lucky! I just have broken-down cars.

I upped the exposure on the camera and edited it in photoshop...errrr I mean I opened the gates of heaven with my garage door opener. Yea. Exactly, that's what I meant. Yep.

Notice how the road bike is all dark and the mtbs are all light-ish and stuff?

I did. Very artsy, and a semi-subtle reference to the dark side vs. the light side of cycling.

Don't worry, it doesn't sound like it's going to stay shiny for very long.

Dude. I can't even believe how easily the clear coat scratches and scrapes off. My mtb tipped over into the road bike, another scrape. I fall on the road bike, another scrape. I lean it on something another scrape. This is driving me crazy many!!

I haven't even taken it off roading yet.

heh, that sucks. Like getting new shoes, and finding out that you have no choice but to walk through the mud.

Hopefully the clearcoat is just for shiny, and doesn't affect the structure of the carbon. I'm thinking it's probably no big deal, aside from aesthetics.

Aesthetics are all that matter, who cares about the carbon. Ask Siu, she understand what I'm talkin' bout.
