Yeah, I thought he did a really good job on that too. The final four are all really awesome. It's going to be really interesting to see who comes out on top. I really like them all.

Wow-- that was impressive (although he lost me after the 80s section ).

This one cracks me up (WARNING: language!)

And I will always love this one (WARNING: Funk!)

We are definitely out of synch down here - we are down to the last 8, not the last 4.

Seeing it again, I thought Blake was great... better than I thought he was on Tuesday night. That was a great version of a very fun song.

I like that he's not afraid to play with stuff. And not just, "I'm going to country up this R&B song cause that's who I am." Yeah, his version of "Imagine" last week was pretty standard, but we've all heard that song a million times and there's no way to make it mean anything anymore.

I'm not sure why the judges were calling Blake's performance a 'risk'. It was fun and somewhat innovative. Good energy. Sure, people love the song, but it's a party song by a Jersey hair band, not The Gospel of John. So playing with it isn't that big of a deal. And it was a great performance from him. He kept the energy going, so really there was no way he was going to mess it up.

I like that Blake really takes the time to think about what he's doing. And you can tell that he's happy to be there. Some contestants, *cough* LaKisha *cough*, don't look like they're having fun. Great job, Blake.

I agree! and I thought it was odd too when the lead singer said "and that's a song people dont like to see messed with"
I thought to myself, it's a song everyone knows yes, but didnt realised it was so sacred!

Im starting to like blake more myself!

I loved it too. I was thinking..."oh crap, he is headed for disaster." Then he started to sing and nailed it from the very start. The biggest thing it proved to me is that Jon Bon Jovi is out of touch and really still trapped in the 80's. (His hair proves it.)

He has somehow endured and I am ok with some of his current music, and even though I am from his era, he got pwned by Blake the other night. That was sweet. Sucks to get old Jon.

I like any YouTube video involving people under 5'7" breaking things with their hands. Quite fortunatly there seems to be enough footage to fill up every bored moment I will ever have at work.
