Wife got me a kiddie trailer

For our dog. She paid $25 at a yard sale. I hooked it up when I got home from work. The dog wasn't too sure about it at first. We had her in her harness and belted to the trailer so she wouldn't leap out.

I took her out on the street and kept an eye on her with my mirror. Her nervousness seemed to dissolve and the tail started wagging and she had that happy dog tongue hanging out and air sniffing thing that dogs do.

Only went for about a half mile total. Tomorrow we'll try the dog park. 2.7 miles one way. I sure can feel that thing behind me.

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Cool, try it with 50 pounds of gear! I use one touring!

I always wanted to ride in one when I was little, but never got the chance. Oh well, it can't possibly beat having a car.

Dog is 46 pounds! But yeah, I can see where it would be useful to haul things around too.

Yep, it's right handy! Kid trailer buyers are great! Most people buy one,use it twice, and then a tourist or utility rider buys it for a fraction of the cost and uses it to death! I bought this one for $50.00, and it's a $300.00 Schwinn trailer, and not one of the discount ones, was used a couple of times before I got it!

What kind did you get?

I'm almost scared to say. It's a "Huffy Ride n Run". I told my wife, "I'm not hooking up something that says Huffy to my Trek!"

AAHH, that explains the feeling the trailer behind you. It's actually a Pacific, basically an IStep or equivalent. It's not a bad trailer though, just feels a little different and a good cheap way to try it out! Look for a Burley if you really decide you like it, or a Schwinn trailer, and I think Burley even makes a dog specific trailer, by the way!
