Finals are over! Summer has officially started!

Now all I have to do is wait for my grades!

finals? semester? what's that?

all I have to look forward to is the end of my company's busy season, which started in February and will end in about October or thereabouts.

Oh. c'mon. You know you're just going to throw the whole stack down a staircase to determine which exams get which grades. No way anyone can actually read all that cr@p and remain sane.

You need to get some research assistants (or department biotch as I am otherwise known) to grade your low level classes for you!

I still have a week more of classes to go, then my only final exam is on Weds May 18th at 8am.

My petrology class/lab does not have a final. The prof arranged the class so that we had a small test every week, both in lab and in lecture. So I had a lab test every Monday and a lecture test every Thursday, with no final exam. It all worked out surprisingly well.

M final is in Calc I. I am retaking the class. I got a C last semester, but I wanted to do better to get ready for Calc II. I'm pulling an A right now. I'm really enjoying retaking this class and I'm learning it so much better. Last semester I failed all the quizzes, this semester I got A's on most of the quizzes. I'm taking this semester's class with a different prof who I like a lot, and I'm happy that she will be teaching my Calc II class next fall.

I'm taking the summer off to play: bike, camp, hike. We plan to do at least one week-long bike tour!

Yeppers! We're gonna play this Summer as well. May 10, we leave to spend a month riding around the UP of Michigan by bike.
