    Anyone here internet light?

I screw around online far too much, and I have access at school if I need it. Should I ditch my wifi addiction!?

    I think I'm internet lite.

We just have a dial-up that is free through my college. It's slow, but the price is right. At school I use the faster internet if I want.

At home I don't look at many site with big pictures or videos, it just takes too long to load.

I generally only visit about half a dozen websites regularly to browse around (BF being one of them).

We don't have cable TV either. We have a wireless connection (rabbit ears), six channels on a 13in TV is plenty for us. No cell phone either. We did recently get a cordless phone at home. Those are pretty nifty!

I feel like we are living in the paleolithic. Have no plans to upgrade. Life is good.

Do the Foosters minimize time on the Internet? Are you kidding me?

Faster internet is fine. But going to the a wifi hotspot like a coffeeshop or the like has more of a social feel. You can hookup with the babes and dudes and not be frequently squirreled away by yourself. The downside is ordering ultra expesive coffee drinks that can add up.
Would you like a dream with that?

The few times I've ventured into a coffeeshop (for just a regular small cup of coffee), the only babes and dudes tended to be 20- and 30-somethings. Not exactly "hook-up" heaven for this gal.

I prefer to socialize around bicycles and group rides and TT's. And, of course, Foo.

Are you familiar with the term 'cougar'? Why NOT date younger men? I don't see any reason why you couldn't. You have personality, an interesting life (cycling is pretty darned interesting), and a better body than most college senior.

I wouldn't mind dating an older woman as long as she could understand that I'm in college and a wannabe bike racer with no money. Likely not something that would last long term, but it would be fun and interesting.

Might be fun, if it were not long-term, and I were in a different situation. Long-term, I just feel more comfortable with someone who has had a similar amount and type of life-experience.... At this point, I prefer to "hold out" for that older man, and to stay busy riding, training, making new cycling friends, and essentially rebuilding my life in the interim.
