    I'm BACK!!!! too

Can't guarantee the pictures of handsome men that snowy has lined up, but I had a fantastic, amazing, bewildering, and utterly unforgettable week in North Korea (or the DPRK, as they prefer to call it there). I just got back late yesterday -- pictures are forthcoming.

In the meantime, it's good to see Foo chugging along, with incredible news about Michele, and KT comfortably ensconced in Washington!

Glad to see you safe and sound back in bustling and neoned Shanghai!

Lookin' forward to hearing your stories, and seeing those "officially-approved" pics.

Sorry, dude, but I gave you up for lost in the DPRK penal system. Hehe. Everything intact? No brainwashedness? Oh, and did you have any kimchi? Man, I haven't had any of that in years...probably for good reason. Good to have you back, in any case.

Sooo...didja have to grease any border guards palms when crossing?? Come up with any "creative" methods for hiding the pics?? You must have had some cool adventures. We will be waiting impatiently for the pics! Glad you're safe
    Hi. I don't think we've been introduced. I'm awesome.

Oops, need to get back into my Foo habit... Pictures coming along soon, I hope!

As for customs, I ended up having to delete two photos, of the one-foot gap that you had to jump to get into the dining car on the train (more funny than scary). I don't think the customs guy really knew what it was, but asked me to delete it anyway. Ended up a total of 395 pictures and short movie clips...

    polara426sh.... umm.... thanks?

Had tons of kimchee, which I actually really like... did get a nasty case of food poisoning, though, which prevented me from seeing the DMZ

    More soon!

So are you having uncontrolable urges to do everything Angela Lansbury tells you to do yet?

Thankfully, not being Frank Sinatra, I think I am immune...

Edit: Oops -- of course, Sinatra wasn't actually the one getting orders from Angela Lansbury... need to see it again, obviously

Mmm, kimchee! I like it, too, but too much tends to make you smell funny. As for the DMZ, well, I told you to stay away from there anyway. There's people with guns all over that place, silly! Glad things went well.

A sad lack of crescent rolls and silly tourist hats, but I did find a silly tourist T-shirt that says "See you in Pyongyang!" on the back
