Hey look at my poster

For my band. I drew it with pastels then fixed it up in Photoshop. The website doesn't work yet, so don't try.
Hope you like it.

No offense, max...but there's been about 146 bands named The Skulls...including a pretty influential punk band in LA that's been doing it for about 30 years.

Aren't you in Southern California? The first show you play, you'll probably be getting people telling you about the other The Skulls.

...and that skull looks like the alien MeatHead from the Meatballs movie that came out in the early '80's.

Only if you plan on playing live, recording, having your name on posters, starting a Myspace page or your own website, or being played on the radio.

Oh, and if maxman is lurking, it's also probably a bad idea to put a url on a poster that doesn't actually go to your band's website. Just put www.theskulls.com into my browser and got redirected to a medical website. *shrug* I doubt you've bought the domain either or it would have a temp page for your host or domain brokerage company.

well...in Max's defense, the URL is www.theskulls.co.nr which still doesn't go to anything but a placeholder.
