I'm such a sucker for ugly.......

I wasn't meaning to come home with her. But she was so.......unattractive...........that I didn't want her put to sleep.

The other two dogs and my cats love her. She is such a mellow puppy. I guess we both lucked out.

Any name suggestions?

She is absolutely adorable! You really lucked out. Sorry I can't help with a name, though- I'm terrible at that.

keep it to two syllables and it shouldn't sound like any of the commands you intend to train her with. Also don't use her name unless you're speaking to her - she'll be confused.

she's sweet, don't call her 'ugly'. nice find!

OMG. She's adorable. I'm willing to bet that she will grow up to be a very regal looking dog. She should have a distinguished name, like Livia or Boudica.

(Thank you for giving her a home and a life)

VERY cute.

We had a wonderful ugly dog too... we adopted her at age 13-14. A little chihuahua mix who sort of fell in our laps and won our hearts. She was old and angry and hated everyone and everything but us, but we gave her a good place to live out her last couple years somewhat happy, after a life of being abandoned/neglected by multiple owners.

We had to put her to sleep last fall because of severe, severe CHF. This is her on her last day with us, sunning on our balcony one last time.

You can name her Tigress. Her striping certainly fits.

congestive heart failure. She had a bad mitral valve, and eventually it led to heart failure. She was building up so much fluid in her lungs that just walking around the apartment was leading to fainting/coughing spells. Day to day existence was painful, and the last thing we wanted was for her to drown (that's what it amounts to) alone while we were at work or something. It was time, unfortunately.
