OK Cypress, now you are truly a god - go forth to the roadie forums and spread some fire and brimstone!

I've seen "Half-Life 2 Lost Coast HD" played on a 30-inch Cinema Display. I came twice.

Fret not, fair Macintosh denizens, I'm merely expressing popular sentiment from days and operating system versions past (writ in the language of today). I know times have changed.

Sincerely,

The only game I "seriously" play (very casual user here) is WoW. I do more stuff with video editing. I've heard nothing but good things about WoW run on the true Mac side. If at all possible, I'll never even touch bootcamp.

I ran HL2 on my OSX.

Not windows. That Shiite Muslim will never touch my drive.

I've heard similar things from a friend who plays Warcraft like crazy. Used to play it on a PowerMac G5, which I believe he's replaced with one of the Intel PowerMacs.

The latest Blizzard game I've played, though, is Diablo II, and Blizzard's Mac ports back then weren't quite as nice as they are today, unfortunately.

Im pretty sure the next computer I buy will be a large screen IMac. Probably replace windows w/ Ubuntu for work since I dont really play games or use any windows specific games anymore. Those IMacs are just so sweet in their desk footprint.

If you get the 24", make sure you have a very deep desk.

Screw the desk footprint, I'd like to mount one flat on the wall. Cleaner look, and more room on the desk for an IBM Model M keyboard.
