They seem like a good idea for rain and certain activities like bike washing. I saw a lot of people on bikes around here wearing them with heavy wool socks this past winter. Certainly solves the problem of shoes that don't dry in between the morning and evening commute. As for kids, I imagine my mom would have loved these for my brother and me. She would have to wash our mud shoes 2-3 times a week at certain times of the year. Not fun.

They recognize that the dialectic is not about making us look at you, but about us all looking together for the truth."

No foot farts. There are little textured nubs inside that help with comfort and ventilation. Not too much sweat because of it. They ARE very comfy, and they come in the neutral colors as well. I have a beige one as well as a black one. They don't hold smell, they are light and pretty durable.

I tried to get the imitation ones to use for when I work in my garden, but found they are not as durable. Although they LOOK the same, I found the material to be harder, not as forgiving and it ended up tearing around the vent holes where my foot bends.

The Crocs held out. I was surprised. This is one instance where I will continue to buy the name brand.

I don't care if my feet squeak a bit!
