Amazing Wooden Scooter Mountain Race.

My wife got an email from her uncle with a couple incredible shots from the Philippines.
These are of an indigenous tribe from the mountain regions where incredible rice terraces can be found.
These terraces are from about 2000 years ago. They make these wooden scooters for a festival and race them down the mountain roads. Incredible.

Do these things look like a blast or what?

I would love to do that. I wonder if you can brake hard enough to do a j-slide at the end?

Oh let's do the free hug thing the same time we do the pink tight thing. Do you wanna do it on mtbs or wait for the roadies? If we do it with the mtbs we can do it this week. If not, the roadie hopefully will be at the end of the month.

Oh and I found out what is holding up the saddle. I accidently ordered the saddle with the ti rails and used the order number of the one with the NiCro rails. I think I confused everybody.

No wonder they can't find the saddle.

You want to do the free hug thing while I'm half naked in pink tights in the castro district? We should do them separate. I don't know we could do the pink tight thing next week. Let's just get together and do something, we'll decide over the weekend. We're doing a ride tomorow with 3500+ elevation of climbing, so I need a few days for my legs to repair.

It's not like you really need a seat, you can just hover. But I'm glad it's sorted out, kind of.

Looking at the seat, I'd be afraid of splinters big time.

I love that the heads of the rides are held on with tied rubber, except for a couple cats on the darker wood models. Master wood workers?...note the god head on the guy closest us in the group shot.
