My geek-alert-ometer already caught that earlier today.

Causing quite a bit of a stir, but what do people think an urban knight would ride? A raked OCC chopper?

It looks functional and will be badass on the big screen.

Meh... Comic book movies chap my arse. Blech!

We watched Ghost Rider over the weekend. I didn't know wether to laugh or cry. The movie was pathetic! Now Silver Surfer comes to the screen, no thanks. If I want to watch a CGI movie, I'll get Over the Hedge. At least there's no pretension.

Comic books were part of my childhood, so I look forward to movies....usually. They've really only started making good movies from them fairly recently. And they still make bad ones. I haven't seen Ghostrider but from what I've heard it was pathetic. Daredevil blew chunks. The first Fantastic Four was so bad I'm not sure why they're doing a sequel. And so on...

But Batman Begins was one of the best comic book movies IMO - if not THE best, so I'm looking forward to the sequel.

Looks pretty dorky when being ridden, doesn't it?

Hell with the cape. Can you imagine trying to maneuver that thing with friggin' monster truck tires on the front and back? No turning on a dime for the Batcycle, no sir.

The tires “are both a monstrously huge 508 millimeters, and the engines are in the hubs of each wheel. Steering isn’t by hand but by shoulder, since there aren’t handlebars. Instead, there are shields that fit each arm like sleeves and have the ability to rotate around the bike’s frame. The two foot pegs are set 3 1/2 feet apart on either side of the tank, which the rider lies on, belly down."

Sounds like a great way to grind one's nuggets off.
