If it is under warranty, send it back to Motorola for a new one. My wife just got a new one last week. The warranty is one year.

The camera in your phone stopped working? Congratulations, your phone just got better!

*stabs the corpse of the person who first uttered "Hey, let's integrate a horrible little digital camera into this phone!"*

Those Razer phones are crap anyway. My wife has owned at least two or three of them and they never work right. For that matter, she's never had a phone that gets good reception, so maybe it is her. I, on the other hand usually walk into the phone place and pick the toughest looking phone i can find and buy it.

My phones get beat around on the bikes pretty good and never fail to work perfectly. I don't have a camera or any of that crap. I don't have a camera on my phone nor a phone on my camera.

Stand on your head, balance a bucket of vanilla ice cream on your feet and sing the national anthem.

Whether that works or not, get your mom's razor who's camera does still work and have her take a picture of you and post it.

Buy a Nokia or Samsung.

Motorola products SUCK, and Razrs are the Camaro or Mustang of cell phones. As a sohpisticated gadget head, I've tried many Motorol products over the years and been disappointed every time. (Except for the Star-Tac, which I loved in their time, back in the late 90s.) I don't even understand why consumers find the "flat" design appealing, when it's really no more compact than so many Nokia and Samsung, and definitely no sexier.

I personally recommend HTC or Nokia. I have been impressed so far with the quality of my HTC PocketPC phone, and would buy another phone from them. In fact, I probably will end up buying another PocketPC as a graduation present for myself.

I only let her have it when she's out and about so I can keep track of her or for emergencies, and let me tell ya it is a fight! she would gab on it day and night.

Average life of a cell phone = 15 months. Warranty is 12 months. Your contract is 24 months, but you can upgrade for cheap after 12 months if you just extend this contact out again. Welcome to the hamster wheel. Buy a phone that makes phone calls.

I've had great luck with my Razr...2 years and going strong.

Maybe it's due to mine being a first-gen. Got mine on discount right before the second gen units came out.

I agree, Motorola sucks ass.
If people get to choose between a sexy phone that will work for 2 weeks and no warrenty, or an unsexy phone that will do its job for as long as you keep it, them ******* will probably choose the sexy one.
Razrs suck ass. I like the "flat" design because I spend a lot of time running from...err...pumping up my adrenalin, so when I jump fences or roll over on the ground, my old unsexy Sharp TM150 kept stabbing me in the side with its BULKYNESS!!!!!
I would rather get an LG (which sounds like a reliable phone brand, from what I've heard) that is not as sexy as my Razr, but actually have it work

RAZR RANT!!!

Max, I use a cheap and cheesie Kyocera K10. It works pretty well and is so cheap that if it gets broken or stolen, no issues. Some one did steal mine last month and when I reported it stolen to my carrier, Virgin Mobile, they offered me another phone for the cost of shipping it.....$9.95! No contract, no extensions and this was to replace a three year old cell that still worked well in spite of the rough treatment I've given it over the years!

Here is a basic flip phone that once you get used to WM5, it definitely will be worth having:

http://www.wireless.att.com/cell-pho...q_sku=sku40007

Its a flip-phone, and does decent calling, but it does pretty much anything you would need that a smartphone could offer. If you want a PocketPC, you can grab a T-Mobile Wing, AT&T 8525, or pony up your $600 for an iPhone.

I like LG phones; they still work after you drop them. They still work with cracked view plates after a 15 year old slides on gravel & lands on top of it with his bike. Of course, in WV NO phone really works well... too many mountains in the way.
