    Crazy small sculptures

    http://abcnews.go.com/WN/story?id=3297372
    ^^^
I watched that story on ABC the other night. This guy,by hand (yes that was by hand), carves sculptures out of single grains of sand, that fit inside the eye of a needle or on the head of a pin.
He just sold his life's work for millions, making his sculptures, by weight, one of the most valuable substances on earth. His work is insane, I'm mesmerized.

I'd like to hear more about the tools. They may be even more impressive than the sculptures in terms of an accomplishment.

Homemade tools, a clamp like those fly fishers use to tie flies, a binocular dissecting scope, and a steady hand. He paints them with a hair he plucks from the back of a house fly, and moves them about with static electricity from a few fibers of wool. He accidently inhaled his "Alice in Wonderland" sculpture.

{edit** you beat me to it.
There is a link to the vid of the story they ran last night on the ABC link.
