    Rally together for another fooster.

I actually got to talk to Mr. Gear Jammer, well I am right now. He's having some kind of medical issues, and has not been feeling like visiting foo alot. He's been in and out of doctors lately, and has been suffering from quite a few symptoms: muscle pain, weakness in muscles, fatigue, memory loss, loss of appetite, loss of balance. He says his decision making is nearly gone. The doctors tell him it could be a variety of things- Thyroid condition, hormone issue, or diabetes. I instantly encouraged him to come back to foo, and asked him if he was alright with me starting a thread for him. I told him foo is great for moral support, and he should come back.

I'd like to have everyone offer him a little bit of some foo lovin' and I for one actually miss him a bit, and noticed him having been mentioned in that thread KT started. So let's all pass out some love.

Hey, Gear Jammer! Good to see ya!

Best wishes from me and crazylady! If it turns out to be an endocrine issue, I can promise you that once they get it regulated, you'll feel about 19 years old again! (Experience here....pituitary problem!)

The anexiety of the wait is so very hard. Your mind goes off on all kinds of 'what if's' and can really wear you down. Once they have it diagnosed you can focus on the recovery process and it all becomes so much easier to cope with.

Heaps of positive healing energy are headed your way. Stay strong.

Hey. We are here for ya. We still need you here. It's okay if you have a couple of memory lapses - are you sure it's not because you REALLY don't wanna remember what's on here? Have you seen the pics of Jon lately?? OMG I WISH I could forget them!

Anyway, I hope that things start getting better for you. Sending Foo energy here, baybuh. And hugs. Lots of hugs ((hugs)).

My grandfather was a farmer and had a wonderful saying that has stuck with me for years. He would call life's problems and challenges "rocks in your row to hoe" and he would say some had larger rocks to deal with than others. It always brought peace to me for some reason.

    Hope you feel better soon.

Mr. Gear Jammer, if you can't jam gears on your bike, come jam them in foo. If you are disoriented and a bit weird.....then you'll fit in perfectly (and seem no different than usual).

How the heck could anyone forget that avitar?

Foo-magic can work wonders, GJ. Don't believe me? Go check out scottmorrison99's thread about the scary stuff his wife Michele has been through. And check back into the thread about Trinity, Siu's latest pup. (Search for "ugly pup".) In both cases, most folks think medical science got them through. Here at Foo, we know better: it was Foo-magic.

Okay, that's bull-bleep. But as Scott, Siu, VegaVixen and I can all attest, Foo can make getting through the toigh times just a little bit easier. And that little bit can be H-U-G-E. We're here for you, in all our screwy glory. And we won't go away unless you make us - and maybe not even then.

I hope you find out soon what is causing the problems - the not knowing is sooooo frustrating. I hope that the docs can then make it better. And I hope you let us help make your days that all-important little bit better.

    Tailwinds, GJ.

Just saw this thread....I wish you a speedy diagnosis and treatment.
Like Tom said...if its endocrine, they should easily be able to treat it and regulate it. Once everything's under control, you will feel sooooooooo much better. I know as I have a crappy thyroid and am diabetic. It was like night and day, the difference between pre diagnosis and now.

    Best of luck!
