wmn; part deux

Hello, my name is red house.. blah, blah, blah, blah.

Two days ago a female friend of mine whom I work with was called into work on her day off to attend a meeting with the directors of HR, her supervisor, his supervisor (i.e. ''the big boss man'' ) and a lawyer who was one of the attorney's employed by our company. Apparently her (and I) had been the subject of a month long investigation revolving around allegations that her and I had been doing the nasty in the woman's bathroom - and also that she had been sexually harrassing every other co-worker - and, also that she had been intentionally tampering with (i.e. sabotaging) the product that is manufactured where we work. So, basically for one month (since May) the two of us have been under the microscope of the investigative team without our knowledge - and luckily during that time they found nothing to be suspicious of and the investigation was closed. She has so far been ''reluctant'' to tell me the names + numbers of these ppl.

Now, it has recently come to my attn that my ex-gf was behind all of this. I put together the pieces myself and made her confess. My only condition for her forgiveness was that she divulge the names and telephone numbers of her accomplices (the ppl who she claims thought this up, and made the phone calls) - as this is not the first time that she has had other ppl (apparently the same ppl actually) pull and plan stunts similar to this one. I want their names and numbers *just incase* something like this happens again, or incase there is another such scheme that is already in progress or in the works that I am not yet aware of.

What do you think? What would do or have said or done?

Yeah, you shouldn't let this go. This could have cost you your job, reputation(it may already have), and get you charged with a crime. I say take them all down. These are dangerous people. If they are willing to do it to you, they are willing to do it to anyone.

D00d, these are 'women'.. that they are 'dangerous ppl' - capable of extreme acts of vindictiveness is a given.

Slander, harrassment, wrongful charges....yeah I would think there's probably grounds for charging her with a crime if what you say is true. I'm not lawyer or associated with the legal system in any manner, but I would think you have grounds.

Yeah.. I guess. But for the moment I think it best that only I know who is behind this giant crazyness. If I reveal what I know - then I can no longer contain and control the ensuing potential for even greater insanity.

Whew! Vindictive beotch! One of my old friends was like that - wouldn't let it drop. And good grief get a drink into her and that's all she would talk/think about was getting back at so and so and hey want to go to this bar now (cause you know who would be there) and can we drive home this way (by the new girlfriend's house). She became a pain!

The real question here is, were you doing it in the bathroom?

Yeah.. it went both ways though. Once when this woman and I were arguing at work and I was being fresh and refused to stop talking about something that she had asked me to stop talking about, - she went and hit ''redial'' on one of the conference phones (it was on speaker-phone) - which then dialed my ex-gf cell phone number (unbeknownst to me - but fully known to her), and a five minute long conversation/argument between the two of us was recorded on her voicemail. Ever since she ''intentionally'' did this really cruel thing, my ex has had it out for her - or atleast that is the main reason/insident that she brings up to justify her intense animosity regarding this woman.

There's a reason that song "All My Ex's Live in Texas" was a big hit (at least on the country charts). It actually gave some good advice.

Dude...move away from both of them....far, far away. And don't leave a forwarding address.

Pity you let her know you were on to her. A lawyer who specializes in harassment cases is your best bet now. And the next time a lady asks you to drop a subject . . .

Reminds me of a story told to me with a I guy I work with on occasion. During a nasty divorce, his ex called the FBI saying he was threatening the Vice President (i.e. Cheney). He discovers this after he gets home from a trip and is greeted by the FBI, the Secret Service, and the local SWAT team. He was not a happy camper.

If it has affected work, you need to know that you can rely on your reputation and your bosses at work. I wonder how much involvement the 'comrades in shenanigans' have with the company - how much influence they have.

I think you really need to get serious and make sure your standing at work is solid, first and foremost. If the company got involved and hence did an investigation, I would want my boss to the the type that would take it seriously. I hope yours would if you divulged this info. It's serious legal crap that, especially if your job/reputation are important.

----

My ex went nuts on the last day, planned it all out.. cut a long story short she left me stranded the night before I had to leave the country, missing 800Eur she knew I had in my luggage, so she could torture me with it (i.e. make me beg and threaten and tell her whatever she wanted to know so she'd send it back).

It ended up with me threatening to go to the police, and managing to arrange a Sunday 6am delivery of said money in a paper bag tied to string dangled out a window from a block of flats, 4 hours before my flight. Then she went into my email. It was a pretty surreal end to the relationship I can tell you.

The vindictive ones with a revenge axe to grind are pure, concentrated maliciousness when the red mist comes over them. Good luck Red, sounds like you bagged a corker there.

Wow.. it sounds like a very good story and worth sharing, would you be able to tell us the 'long' version of it? Did it involve that Persian-American girl 'Sam'?

It has not affected my work, I am a night-watchman at this job and I thus I am a 'contractor' - not a direct employee of this company. Furthermore my ''reputation'' is non-existant, I work the over-nite shift and so very few ppl there are well aquainted with me.

I am more concerned with this woman and her standing within the company, since she is the one with the 'nice' respectable job title and the potential career there. Apparently the investigation only turned up good things about her - so I am hoping that nothing more bad will come from it.

As for the 'comrades in shenanigans' - to my knowledge the co-conspirators are friends that my ex-gf knew through her University - and who happen to be of the same Nat'latity of this woman whom I work with - and who supposedly offered to help my xgirlfriend out because their ppl have (a reputation for) promiscuity issues and a habit of stealing away other ppls boyfriends and husbands - and they wanted to do a little something to help rectify that within their community. This is what I was told. But I still have not their names or numbers, which I want to get from her.

I'd consider an attorney, and maybe a peace bond or restraining order. There have been a number of offenses comitted here, both civil and criminal... and sometimes the effects of this stuff may not be evident until years later when looking for a promotion, or moving to another job.

You want to not just clear your name, but have iron clad documentation in your HR file.
