Be SEEN on your bike!!

I got this from the commuting forum and have bought a few to try them out myself. I wore one today for my first try out and I can tell you....these shirts are GREAT.

Some already know about them, I'm sure. In that thread, I think Chipcom said he's been wearing them for a few years on commute already.

Anyway, if you want to be SEEN on your bike, then look at the ALERT SHIRT.
http://alertshirt.com/higvisshirfo.html

High-Viz
Inexpensive
Moisture-Wicking
Many have reflective tape as well
Large sizes, comfortable fit

As a plus, you might sorta look like a lumberjack while wearing it.

Huh. Apparently if you oversaturate a color on an LCD display, you can cause burn-in.

I'd rather be seen wearing a Salomon motocross shirt. Better if you fall/meet some girls.

No, no -- that's your eyes. A good bleach-scrubbing will do the trick.

Seems like every category of cyclist has their "uniform". BTW, I have a few of these w/ the HHCMF logo and they'll blind retinas which is awesome.

Yeah...I wore it on way to work this morning and felt like a Christmas tree riding down the street.

Did you pay to get log put on, or are they available with that logo somewhere?

Could they have possibly made this thing any uglier? I mean getting noticed in traffic is usually a good thing, but if you wore that thing, people just might throw a wrench in your spokes for the sake of their now destroyed retinas.

Hey, they'd have to notice you in order to aim the wrench. Mission accomplished!

It looks like a red cotton shirt with duct tape stuck on it.

It's kinda-oogley!

Not cotton, not duct tape.

Microfiber Polyester, moisture wicking material with 3M reflective tape.

It was a special order. Eggplant Jeff did the legwork, mirona designed the logo and we bought a bunch in bulk. This was almost 2 yrs ago.

I guess now that I'm in the commuting forum more, I'll see it if something like that comes around again.

Maybe a commuting clydesdale HHCMF shirt would be good.

I'm cool with that....a Commuting Clydes shirt would be great fun.

Those knickers would be good for riding. No pant leg to get greasy and caught in the chain.

hehe Lederhosen.

My father was born there - he had his pair of lederhosen hanging in the garage for years - mostly made of leather!

Get it in a Class III vest/sleeved version in a saturated hot pink and count me in on an order.

Most visible I ever got was with a spandex outfit designed for divers that may run into stinging jellies. Ankle to wrist to neck hot pink.
