And the last wrestler who "died" was making announcements about this one....I saw a clip on news with Vince McMahon saying something like "we have nothing but warm condolences for the family...".

Why do these guys get this backwards, you're supposed to hang yourself first, THEN go for the others.

Wow......You wouldn't have expected it from Benoit - it's not like he's new to this or anything, he's been on the circuit forever. Roid rage is a total myth by the way.

Roid rage isn't a total myth. It isn't completely true either as symtoms effect different people in different ways but the testosterone completely screws with your emotions and how you can deal with them. Especially prolonged usage without proper cycling. (not biking)

Oh and bummer. I always thought he was a good guy. He "seemed" like one of the true professionals. I wonder if the guerrero incident had a lasting affect on his physcy...

Wouldn't doubt it. Details are still sketchy, but the reports I've been hearing are all f'd up. Totally out of character according to his friends / co-workers

Anyone hear believe the WWE didnt know what happend in that house BEFORE they went ahead with a tribute show for that psycho last night? They gave Beniot the same treatment they gave Eddie when he died.
Here is the topper: HHH rolls on camera talking about how Beniot commanded and got respect, yadda yadda yadda, then to end his euelgy, he says " I respect you, Chris" REALLY???? WWE let the star of their brand name go on TV and say that he respects a killer???

I only watch WWE on a passing basis, maybe 15 minutes of RAW a month, but if Vince Mcmahon is gonna try to make a buck off a murderer like that, then I'm out on WWE for good

I do. They had the same information all of us had. They may have had suspicions, as I did, but there was no way to know without official comment from law enforcement which came this afternoon

Again it wasn't KNOWN that he did it, hell CNN didn't even cover it yesterday, I found out about it from RAW, and then looked it up online. Vince McMahon had some interesting comments at the start of the ECW show tonight in which he backed off the tribute from last night due to the new information that has come to light. All of Benoit's merchandise has been pulled from the site (and I'm sure by now the stores) If he was trying to make a buck you wouldn't see that

Rest assured, despite his on screen character, Vince is a class act.

the reason people do this is due to arrogance and self-centeredness. They are so egocentric that they truly believe their "loved" ones are better off dead than without them.

Amongst many others as well. Depends on type, volume and cycles, but it does give the rage. I saw an entire defensive line on a highschool football team turn from partying highschool kids, to violent offenders very very quickly.

While still not a pinner, definately much smaller. They had him on pros vs joes and it was shcoking how small he was. Good for him for being able to drop it. I couldn't imagine dropping 50pounds in solid muscle and still being a happy man.

That he is....his onscreen persona is nothing more than that, a persona, with huge comic book attributes. All that is is marketing 101!

Track marks in his 7 year old sons arm. What a sick ****er.

Makes me really glad he's gone. But I feel very sorry for his kid and wife.
