How do you intertain yourself when ill?

I've felt like tea totaling crap for the last two days. I spent today doing a whole lot of nothing and bored with all of it.

My medicine has me wired like I've been lost in the desert and had to quench my thirst with expresso, so sleep is out.
I don't feel well, I ain't going to clean the house, it ain't that dirty.
Internet, I've read the internet front to back, not doing it for me.
Daytime tv sux. Soaps, no way. Star Trek, nope. Btw, Giada De Laurentiis’ head is huge, still fine looking for a lollypop though.
I don't drink.
And catching up on work, what's the point of being sick if you have to do that?

Oh, what to do, what to do?

buy a playstation 3! it's only $599, there are at least 2 good games for it and you can watch blu ray movies on your high definition tv. if you don't have a high definition tv i would recommend the sony bravia xbr3 46" flat panel.

oh and feel better!

I have been feeling clammy and feverish since last weekend. Not a full blown sickness, but kind of a malaise. Is the Georgia weather affecting us?

Write a letter to a friend. Make a picture on MSpaint or the like and post it in this thread. Do you play a musical instrument? I feel every house should have at least one musical instrument.

I have three keyboards at my house all vintage oldies. I can forget time and while the hours away playing on them. Alas, I am a music lover.

GB, maybe the weather, could be forrest fire smoke withdrawal.
My musical ability consits of being able to play a CD and tune a radio. Why I went the visual arts route.

KT, sweet, flash games. Found Cat Canon much fun.

Zinn, I have a Commodore 64 I might pull out of the box, state of the art in its day. I wonder if there is any info left on the tapes.
And thanks, I will.

Buggs, yeah, I guess you are right, time to cook.

If I'm sick enough to stay home from work, I'm sick enough that I don't feel up to doing anything, fun or not. Sleeping sounds like a plan, or failing that, put in a few DVDs, preferably of the type you can fall asleep to if the need arises.

300+ channels of crystal clear hd digital crap. It's bad when I'm completely high on pain meds and there's still nothing on. No all day foo, either. Can't even sit at my desk, so I type when I get up to walk to the bathroom.

Sleep or Counter-Strike.

If it's just a cold, I'll go for a long slow ride.

Oh, what to do, what to do?
Laptop and movies usually do it for me. Or ebay can entertain me for hours.

Buy a guitar.

Buy anything actually. Go visit local businesses and see what goes on during the daytime hours...

Red Dwarf worked for me well

Drop acid and watch Gwar videos

Quote:

THEY ATTACK!
THEY ATTACK!
They are on a rampage
Unleashed from ancient time
Stumbling from the ice age
Marching side by side
Beaks of steel are flaming
Women are enraged
Sky of death is flaming
Women get engaged
They were born of atomic steel
Life and death to them seemed so unreal
Slashing at the ramparts
Hurling ton's of shot
Shopping now at WalMart
Smoking tons of pot
They are on a rampage
They were first to fight
They would write a new page
If they could only write
They were born of atomic steel
They attack
