What branch of military?

What branch of military did you serve in, or "if you were ever to serve", would you choose as the branch for you?

I'm honestly not sure if Coast Guard and/or National Guard count as branches, but you can decide for yourselves.

I was never in military, but most of my family from mom's side were Navy and I've always loved the ocean/ships, so I'd choose Navy if I were to go.

Couldn't get in now if I wanted to, but if I were to go in to the military it would be army. Probably try to be a ranger if I could.

Same here...it's all theoretical. I'm too old and fat for ANY branch...

did 9 years in an Army Nat'l Guard Field Artillery unit, 14 months vicinity Baghdad. deployment and children were the only reason I ever left. it sucks beyond words watching your firstborn son open his first birthday present over a webcam.

many thanks, though, to those who went before me and paved the way to life as we know it now...

I wanted to go into the Air Force for I always wanted to learn how to fly. Because of having to wear glasses I couldn't/didn't sign up.

T55? Soviet? Where are you located, just out of curiosity?

I've worked for the Navy for 26 years. But if I had gone into the Service, it probably would have been the Air Force.

Virginia now, but originally from Prague, Czechoslovakia.

We had 55 and 54M when I was in the service (1988 - 1989) never got close to T72.

Funny, met here a chopper pilot - we found something to talk about right away since they tought him where to shoot rockets at russian tanks and they tought me to fix them

He was saying behind the second wheel on either side - on the left it goes to the driver, on the right there is the inner fuel tank with 100 mm ammo in it - both good spots for the attacker
