    Thump in tire

There's another thread over there about spokes and mystery in a thumping tire. Interesting.

Recently I had a different thump and now I'll report.

My kid and I were cruising at the beach on the MTB's and I kept feeling a thump as we rolled along. I stopped, felt the tire sidewalls, the pressure felt right enough, and we rolled on. Still a thump.

Stopped again and dang if I hadn't run over a frog.

The knobbies kind of gobbled the poor creature up.

I've almost hit a squirrel several times, been schat on by birds, chased by dogs and hit by a truck but but this was the first for a thumping frog.

You ever had a mysterious thump?

Thanks for letting me share... .

Life is about hanging onto what you think is important and finding out what really is important.

So many sayings, so little sig space.

kind of thought someone would put speakers/monitors in an old tyre but apart from some Danish guy's lego project no-one seems to have made a Thumpin' Tyre

Don't run red lights, wear a helmet, use hand signals, get some cycle lights(front and rear) and, FFS, don't run red lights!
