Okay, here goes. 7th of June-I was attempting to open a package with my pocketknife, and the knife slipped and embedded itself into the base of my left index finger. I get to the hospital, and find out I cut both flexor tendons. Surgery on the 11th of June, general anesthetic, the works. A cast for three weeks. Go for another appointment yesterday, got the cast removed and a splint put on. This is the result.

Dude, I did the same thing a long time ago. I thought those scars looked familiar. It sucked taking a shower with one hand sticking out.

That is an odd attraction but, whatever works. *shrug*

I don't really like seeing blood and stitches but, I was curious. I usually pass out on the sight of a lot of blood.

I hearby award you the Boy Scout Finger Carving Merit Badge! And yes I already have one myself. I slashed my finger when a neckerchife slide I was carving from wood suddenly split and the x-acto blade decided my finger was tasty.

Okay Frankenfinger. That's pretty gross. Cool but gross.

Thanks for the PM with the linkies. I would have posted them but by the time I got home you had already gotten to it.

1) Whoever said anything about dating?
2) Are you comfortable seeing blood and gore?
