Be careful...the people who own the plants probably won't be happy with you killing them.

Mix 1/3 cup vinegar (cheap stuff from grocery store)
1/3 cup gin, 1 tbsp of baby shampoo. Add 1 cup water to all the above. Place in sprayer and spray plants. Will kill them in about 3-4 days and they won't be useful to anyone.

Just don't get caugh spraying them.

Surround it with rolling paper, light the rolling paper on fire. Stand really close to make sure it all burns up, after all you are doing this for the children.

Oh, and bring stuff to make smores over the flames, you'll be wanting those a little later on.

Why are you trying to get rid of it and is it on your property?

I'd be cautious of "slow poison". Especially if it's close to harvest. You could potentially wind up hurting a lot of people.

You have got to know that, in Humboldt County, you are playing with fire while holding an open can of gasoline here. 60 plants is a pretty small operation by H-County standards, but still . . . .

Is this somewhere out in the middle of nowhere or off some hiking trail or fire road? If so, just leave. Such growers have a nasty habit of (1) taking the welfare of their crop very seriously and (2) being one hell of a lot more wired into those in positions of authority than most of us ever thought of being. Unless this is your kid's pot farm and it's in your backyard or nearby, leave it alone and don't go back. That sounds cowardly, I know, but unless you are willing to play "Rambo" for the rest of your life, messing with such things can literally get you dead. Many of these growers have absolutely no sense of humor on the subject, and it simply is not worth getting shot over 60 pot plants.

I've done this with just plain vinegar. I use it to kill grass in my backyard its its full of rocks and dangerous to mower.

Why don't you make anonymous call to cops and let them deal with it.

Absolutly!

I worked in every hallow in Eastern Kentucky inspecting bridges. I've been shot at, threatened and spoken to many times. Pot is big serious business in KY and many of the police are on the take.

OP stay away it is not your business.

The Gin seems to make it more potent and the shampoo helps it stick to the leaves more. YMMV.

Just playing devils advocate, as I am not telling the OP to or not to kill the plants.
But depending on where you live and who is around you, one may feel oblgated to "protect society" and as you stated the police are useless in regards to this in some places. I do not know the OP or his/her situation. He/she may have childrent that he's afraid will be tempted by easy access to drugs. Perhaps this is the beginning encroachment of a unwelcomed part of society in that immediate area.
Sometimes, regular citizens have to fight for what they want and believe in.

Family stuff and I feel fairly safe taking care of this problem, it is reoccuring and a pain in the butt. I want to send a message and leave the innocent out of the equation.
The cops have been called over plots this size before and they say just take care of it, it is to small for them to worry about right now.
I have been waiting for the growing season to be about half way through so they won't have time to grow another batch.
Vinegar and soap, sounds good to me and it is cheap.
By the way I feel it is safe for me to do what needs to be done, I'm pretty good in the woods.
One more point, the grower has been confronted about this before and he "promised" he would not do it again, but after selling it he must have changed his mind as he made a good bit of cash.
Thanks for the tip.
Steven

I don't intend on killing the people, just the plants.

If the cops aren't worried, and it isn't a big enough problem so that you are waiting until half-way through growing season, why are you even bothering f-ing up what doesn't belong to you?

I think he's waiting till 1/2 way thru so that he only has to kill one crop, not because it's a non-issue.

As posted, I was waiting 1/2 through the season so I don't have to do this twice, and it impacts family in many ways. I wasn't asking permission just a method.
The grower has had his chance and it needs to be dealt with, preferably the more costly to him the better.
Humboldt County does have that law where they can take your property if you are found to have pot on your property and could reasonably be expected to know about it and should have taken action. Well I expect to be taking action.
I like the method of wrapping it with paper and burning it, then having a smores party. That was cute.
