I do it all the time here in Hot and Humid Miami. No worries. Just take plenty of water.

212 Kelvin is not what I would call hot. Not even close.

I worked all day in the 100 degree heat. I ripped off my shirt to expose my bulging muscles, had someone sunscreen, my rippling, muscular, god-like, upper body. Worked all day no problem. My body was glowing like a greek god from sweat. Hammer in one hand, chevy's sombrero on my head.

No thanks. I think my brain would delaminate in that heat. Year after year I seem to ride less in July and Aug. than in other months. I just don't like to ride if the temp is above 85. I'll go paddle a cool 45F river on those days.

Kinda like my day, except I had on a tyvec suit, and I was inside with seriously high humidity from spraying water everywhere. Plus no water breaks since drinks aren't permitted in containment.

I did the Hotter-n-Hell ride in TX last year (my one and only century) and it was over 100 degrees... I was so dehydrated, cramped and miserable when we hit the 60 mile mark! The next 40 were gruelling. But I finished. Only took us 8 hrs and 20mins! Doh!

Thank gawd the fire department had opened a hydrant and was spraying everyone at one point. The worst part was when most of the final rest stops ran out of ice! No one was too happy about that!

There isn't anything much worse than Tyvek on a hot, humid day. I remember doing some lead abatement on a day in August- when I took off the suit, I had like a quart of seat puddled up in my pantlegs, just before the elastic where the booties attach. Totally gross. Better than the alternative, though .

Not nukes or lead, just asbestos.

It's funny, there are days (like today) where you can stick the hose inside your suit and spray yourself off, and feel overheated while doing so.

As an added bonus, I got shocked by a 120 line today too.

I made it! I went through 4 water bottles but I did it!

The hottest job I ever had was tarring roofs in the summer. I lasted a couple of weeks and then quit. Some things are just not worth the money!

I pulled an @ 50 miler out of my hat - didn't intend on that many but I just kept on going - on & off road deer trails in 96F humid weather. Had a little problem on the way back -- and I know the feeling well -- headache/sick - but I was still sweating so that's good - just took it easy going home...
