Help me keep active!

Because I can't ride, and I have no use of my left hand for the next few weeks, can anybody suggest something to keep me active and entertained? Been walking the dogs a bit lately, love to walk, have been working in the garden, all that. Any other ideas?

If you have a gym membership go spinning! You can do it one handed if need be. Or if you're truly skilled you can sleep while on the bike (long story).

Start running maybe? Hmm... can't really think of much else to suggest that wouldn't put you at risk of falling and injuring your hand more.

Use your right hand.

Hmmmm, if you like to walk, maybe get into hiking. There's got to be some cool places to see in the New Found Land.

The only gym in town is Curves. And I'm NOT going there.

Running and hiking sounds cool, but I know I'll look at some big rock or great line somewhere and say, "I could ride that" and want to ride all over again

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

I could keep you active.....

I'll drop by with a cattle prod and anytime you sit down to rest, I'll zap ya! How's that?

Watch running. Go slow. Novice runners pick up the pace and trip. Nothing like falling and trying to catch your balance using both hands. Ouch!

Hmm I was hoping no one would ask

I did a 24 hour spin solo in February and was really really tired about half way in, according to my team mates (who were only on for a few hours at a time) I has my head pillowed on my arms and was completely out but my legs kept moving. I don't remember anyone trying to get my attention but apparently my team mates were for a good few minutes before they decided I was insane and pedalling in my sleep .
