A Battle for the Ages

Who would win in a fight, a bear or a tiger? Bear gets my vote.

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Vulture! Ultimately, when the bear and the tiger kill each other, the vulture has the equivalent of an all you can eat buffet!

The tiger, because his lion friend would join in. Seriously, have you ever heard of there being a tiger and a bear in the same vicinity without a lion somewhere close by? Oh my!

And then the lion and tigress get together and make a liger. Game over for the bear.

Ligers are actually really sad, bizarre animals as I understand. Lions and tigers don't naturally want to breed so I suppose they're coerced into lovemaking with cheap cognac and Sade records.

There are naturally occurring examples. I also heard that it was Barry White records, not Sade.

Tigers. They have more speed, and their power is not that much less than a bear's.

A bear might win if they get a good first hit in, but keep in mind that a Tiger can take down a 10ft crocodile in seconds....it's no contest. That same crocodile has more strength than a bear....using it's blunt tail, it can inflict crushing damage the bear only wished it could inflcit, and is still faster.

The bear is the top of the food chain over on this side of the world, the Tiger is the top on it's side.

Now, if the bear is wearing one of these, the tables may be turned...

That idiot is the greatest.
I was especially impressed when he tested his fire proof paste by making it into a hat and setting his head on fire.

+1 Liger's are huge. Apparently they lack the growth inhibiting gene that keeps them at a normal size:

I tried to resolve this with a Google fight but they both came up as 0...WTF????? Anyway, I did it the old fashion way...googled both.

Drum roll please...

Tiger had 97,700,000 hits. Bear had 175,000,000 hits.

Bear wins.
