Mitsubishi pickups?

I'll be darned. Mitsubishi has a full sized pickup truck with a V8. I remember the Raider name on compact pickups decades ago, but never have seen it since.

(The things one finds out when bored at work...)

They look like rebadge Dodge Dakotas.

They are basically rebadged Dakotas. Had a dealer try to talk me into one a little while back and he admitted it. Popped the hood and there was the same engine my Dakota had.

Could it be that the Dakota is built by Mitubishi?

No, in this case the Mitsubishi is basically built by Dodge. I think this is the first time it has been reversed.

Some have only been half built by Mitsubishi. I had a '96 Eclipse that had the Mopar emblem stamped in all sorts of places on the engine, transaxle and suspension parts. The body was Mitsubishi but the drivetrain was Mopar.
