Lodi's Mission.......

Well, the time has come to break out from the bubble. I'm packin the Mtb and tent in the truck, and goin across the country for a killer MTB trip! It's something i've wanted to do for a long time, so I just said screw it and now i'm goin. Boston, chicago, rt 66 down to new mexico( and thats when the fun Begins!!!) Ride taos, moab utah, colorado, nebraska and then out to cali! I got a month and a half off from work, so I should have plenty of time to get sidetracked in other places. Yosemite and yellowstone are on the list. maybe even meet a few other BFers. Date of departure is set for september 1'st with an ETA back home of oct 13. Anyone up to meet for a drink or a ride, chime in, i'd love to hear from you guys!!!!

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Sweet, we'll grab a drink or two. But no more than that. I'm a lightweight.

Lodi, I might be a little out of your way, but either about September 2, or Oct 12, I'd be honored to meet you for a ride. Have to warn you though, I don't drink and my MTB has no suspension. I can find out from others in my club where there's a good spot to ride.

btw - you might want to latch onto a good road atlas. The order you listed stops in makes it seem like you're going to be doing a lot more driving than necessary.

That was kind of a rough sketch on what I'd like to do. But everytime I talk to someone new about it, They keep telling me new spots to go see. So i'm trying to get a good idea of where I want ride and what i want to see, then work around that. probably by tomorrow, i'll have the final route down pat, so I can give you guys a definate answer on my exact route. I'm not the most organized person in the world, so if it wasn't for friends, I would have just got in my car and gotten lost in America for a month and a half.
