Yay We Just Met Pheard!

Joe and I were walking to a jeweler to get our fingers sized and I got a call from Jon who just happened to be in our neighborhood! We spent the next few hours hanging out, chatting, and getting into mild shenanigans!

Oh, and I got to talk to Siu on Jon's phone! She sounds like such a doll!

Ummm we missed out on taking some really cool temple pics. He did take a pic of all of us when he came to our place for a minute, but I'm afraid he'll have to produce that.

Um. Did you mistakenly get the man's ring sized for Jon's finger? <curious and very concerned Vega look>

Hope y'all had a great time. And, yes, Siu has a wonderful and friendly voice. Hope y'all can at least send Jon some post-cards of the temple.

Now there's a surprise!

Now that he's on his way to becoming a full-fledged roadie, perhaps he's ready for la maglia rosa?

It was such a pleasure to hear both of your voices! I was so excited when I saw my phone say "Jon calling" because I told him not to call me unless it was Shadiyah on the other end!

...And yet another couple of Foosters who now know that Jon really is the way he is in person. And that I was not making anything up in our threads...

It was very surreal for me, because naturally since I've seen tons of pictures of them but never met them when I saw this hippy and this cute young lady walking down the street it was like seeing a movie star or something. Thanks for hangin' with my heather and Joe, it was nice to meet the "creator". Dun dun dun.... Anyways, we were gunna go for a ride, but once we got to the loft my friends called and we had to go. So close.... I got one picture.

The contrast needs some help in photoshop.

Yes I had a solid white hat on and a pink shirt.

I don't think I saw his underwear once. Hmmmm....did I really get the full Jon experience?

Of course I did. He was a very pleasant young man who was fun to hang out with. I just wish we could have gotten that ride in.

Glad you made it home safe, Jon! We should have taken those flower pics in front of that building I went to the bathroom in! Joe's stupid Iphone was distracting me.

I'd love to meet Donna. She's so cool! Heck, I'd even dust off the old comfort bike so we can cruise together.

I hate to burst your bubble, but most of my friends ride road bikes. In fact, I just finished getting the garage re-organized for my housemate to have the space build a cyclocross frame FG... Joe and Shadiyah seemed to be having so much fun bunnyhopping in the rose gardens, though. Perhaps you should bring a mountain bike. On the other hand, Portlanders would truly appreciate the unconventional, nonconformist aspects of your Moots.

I tried calling you April after I met up with Joe to chat so I could feel like I met you too, but you didn't answer.

Thanks Heather. We got home at 4am. That sucked. I forgot to take more pics, and yes it's all Joe's fault. Trying to post on BF on his new iphone without being connected to any network. Shame shame.

I'm sorry you didn't get to see me do anything embarassing or stupid. I was very calm that day, just had been in the JSB watching a movie.
