Damn that was a good day

Says tupac...

But seriously. Today i am moving back to school. I've spent the summer sleeping on a flea infested couch in my dads house (you see i long lost my room to step sisters).

I worked a crappy job making radiators for Modine Manufacturing until 2 weeks ago.

But, today i shall move my girlfriend into her town house in DeKalb (NIU), and monday her and i will drive to Iowa City to move me into my apartment at Iowa.

It is my last year as an undergrad, assuming all goes well

So how about a cheers to living like a human again!

Congrats!

When doing undergrad, I too worked crappy jobs over summer doing landscaping, and was always happy in a strange way to get back to studying.

Damn that was a good day.. says tupac? Listen son, ain't no kinda way you even gonna last a day in the Iowa hood if you don't even know that 'It was a good day' was off of the 'Predator' album by Ice Cube.. Or maybe you were thinking about the one ''damn it feels good to be a gangsta'' - by blackalicious, (featured in soundtrack from the movie 'office space') ? ..There's ppl who take this kind of thing real serious, and would feel seriously pissed and dissed if they thought for some reason that all these west coast peeps all ''looked the same'' to you. I'm just sayin.. you know? Yeah, you better know.. cuz really, you never know.

The difference between working as an undergrad and working as a grad student is that you get paid more as an undergrad.

I am pretty lucky, all my college summer jobs have been doing what I'll be doing when I graduate, just for ridiculously less pay

Congrats on getting to feel like a human again timmyquest
