    For Stacey...

In all seriousness, this is of course a grave problem, but people who think of creative, not to mention efficient, solutions for our future on this planet give me hope.

I've had rats as pets before, when I was living at home and my parents wouldn't let me get a dog or cat, and they are possibly the most intelligent very small pet you can get. More affectionate than any pothead's reptile (yes, the only people I've ever known to keep large snakes as pets were bongmongers, sue me for defamation,) and far more intelligent than any idiot hamster or guinea pig. They are great pets, and I've known a few homeless people in my hitch-hiking days that had rats that would actually attack hostile people.

So they're great, smart pets, and I think it's awesome and a little heartbreaking they are being put to this use. Think about donating?

    That's cool Kris thanks!

Why heartbreaking? They're too light to trip the mines.

I'm guessing "heartbreaking" is in regards to the existence of the land mines in the first place.

    Actually, it's a symbiosis.

    Rats rule.

no, I mean really - they're gonna take over the planet.

But no worries; they can't mess up much worse than we have.

I highly recommend rats as pets. They are ideal and much cuter and cuddlier than most people realize. I was surprised first time I saw them kept as pets but it didn't take long till I was a hooked.

Be nice to rats. They just might be making your dinner.
