New Job!!!!

Yes, I finally got a new job. I wanted to tell you all last week especially after my boss got the boot on Friday last week. But I didn't want to jenks myself. So today I got the final offer. I'm moving on up into the law world for a paralegal. I'm going to a large firm downtown denver, getting $10,000 year increase in paid, full benefits, bonus and profit sharing as well.

I gave my current employer my two week notice today and will start the new job on September 10th. This will give me sometime off before the new start.

I'm SUPER EXCITED this has been a long time in coming. I feel like I'm the poster child for all good things come to those who wait.

Now someone just tell that to the dating king or queen.

Did someone call for a dancing queen?

Congrats, darlin, we always knew some firm would see you for the talented, smart, beautiful person you are - and some guy far cuter, generous, sexy and whipped than I (as if that's possible) will see you in the same light just when you least expect it.

Congrats, Snowy!

And don't worry about the dating scene just yet. Men are, whether they want to believe it or not, attracted to women who are loving their lives. Just deal with this transition with all you have. I suspect that, as a result, you'll have your hands full with the number of eligible men who want to meet you.

Again, congrats!

BTW. I'm very ignorant (still, for I have a friend who just moved to Ft. Collins) of CO geography. Is this a major move for you? <ignorant Vega look>

Vega,
Fort Collins is North of where I am. Like an hour an half or so.

I live in Lakewood just about 10mins from Downtown Denver.

And don't worry about that Mr. Right. Mr and Mrs Right have a tendency to sneak up when you least expect it...

Don't worry about the man, but you will most likely meet some hunk and then you can quit, go home raise some kids and do woman stuff.

Hope you understand I'm kidding. (sheepish look)

I really hope you do well and wow them.
