A lesson in sunblock coverage

Lesson one:

This is the area that your hands can't reach when applying sunblock yourself.

Any questions?

If you shake it more than three times you're just playing with it.

Wait, what?

Went surfing with a couple of my buddies a few days ago. Myself and another wore rashguards, but as you can see, one of us did not. It was a kind of fend for yourself and hit the waves asap scenerio. Well this was the result of that. He didn't even know his back looked like that, so I had to take a picture so he could admire the symmetry for himself. Anyways,... a couple a' beers made it allllll better!

I love how this guy made up a whole story just to distract from the fact that he wore a sportsbra by accident.

Having spent years as a lifeguard, let me tell you the trick. Apply the sunscreen to the back of your hand. You can reach all of your back with this technique. It's a bit odd to spread but considering your lobster stripe, I'm sure you're willing to learn.

Central Fla sun. It's like being 2 feet away from a sunlamp. I find it satisfying to know sunblock can be that effective against the sun . the way I burn , I sometimes wonder if the stuff really works.

Seriously. And how is going to pull the dead skin off as he peels? Sad, actually. Best part of a sunburn is pulling of sheets of dead skin, seeing how much you can pull off at a time.

Actually, I've found that it covers rather unevenly. In the end, it's just as hard to apply to your back as anything you apply with your hands.

I guess it pays to be able to shake your own hand behind your back (one arm over, one under) And I can actually grab my wrists.

My g/f once demanded that I let her put sunblock on my back (I'm known for not using it at all), when I said, "I got it"... she didn't believe.
