Do you wear make up? If so, what does it usually consist of?
How often? On what occasions?
I wear mascara on a daily basis. I'll usually put on eyeliner and maybe shadow, but that's the extent of the daily makeup. It takes me 60 seconds.
On "special occasions", I might put on lip gloss.
I like to keep it as natural as possible... that way the guy isn't surprised at what he wakes up to the next morning.
hehe - with the exception of Chip and Jon. hehe
If I go out - I do - and it's your basic mascara, eyeliner (maybe), blush, gloss. no foundation, etc - hate the feel of that. My one girlfriend in high school caked herself with it so much that it cracked.
And if I do have to take the bus (won't commute on black ice/blizzard) then I do.
But this commute business does not lend itself to putting make up on before I leave the house. So I have it at work where I mostly forget it - especially since it takes me a while to cool down and so I sit - and start up the computer ... and Foo and other forums and ....
No makeup here.
No ones ever noticed my transparant lip gloss yet...
I wear some sort of lip balm/gloss daily, but not full out make up. If I'm going out I'll do mineral make up (foundation), eye shadow, and depending on how fancy the event is possibly eye liner and lip stick. I try to keep it simple, mostly because I'm cheap and lazy
don't like it nor do i wear any. makes it feel as if my face can't breathe.
C'mon ladies, haven't you heard? This is the new 'natural look.' Just a touch of this and a bucket of that...
That's my wife.
You people are mean.
Hey, a guy can dream, can't he?
Just make sure you're all painted up if you ever want to come cycling with CyLowe.
I like it when ladies only wear eye liner. I mean uhhh I only wear eye liner.
everything else is unneeded.
Plus ladies, and when I say ladies I'm referring to myself. When you wake up in the morning and slather on the paint, please remember and this goes for myself, don't over do it. Please.
I wear makeup on weekdays for work:
light powder (dusting only - not caked on as I can't stand that feeling)
cream blush applied on apples of cheeks only
eyeliner (top lids and sometimes lower if I want the smoky look)
mascara (a MUST as my eyelashes are blond)
lipstick/gloss of some kind
Mascara (see above)
Same as weekdays only I might put on eyeshadow if I want to look a little tart-ish
I wear makeup very rarely. Most often it is lipstick and clear mascara. Sometimes a little bit of concealer for the hereditary dark circles under my eyes. If I have to stand up in a wedding (they always ask me ), I will pay someone to get it done. Lately, I have gotten my housemate to do it. She's really skilled, and has a round face like me. There is an art to getting makeup done right for a round face. I only do that when I know billions of photos are going to be taken.
"Real wars of words are harder to win. They require thought, insight, precision, articulation, knowledge, and experience. They require the humility to admit when you are wrong. They recognize that the dialectic is not about making us look at you, but about us all looking together for the truth."

"Let us hope our weapons are never needed --but do not forget what the common people knew when they demanded the Bill of Rights: An armed citizenry is the first defense, the best defense, and the final defense against tyranny. If guns are outlawed, only the government will have guns. Only the police, the secret police, the military, the hired servants of our rulers. Only the government -- and a few outlaws. I intend to be among the outlaws" - Edward Abbey
"Homer, you had it set on '[apparently bleeped word for 'prostitute' that starts with the letter w]'!"
But seriously, I know no one asked me, but the closer to natural, the better, in my opinion. Ideally, none.
