I don't Myspace, because I heard you can go blind from too much Myspacing, or get hairy palms.

Technically, but don't use it much. I've lately had high school friends planning 20 year reunion contact me and there's been some chatter through a Myspace forum.

I think I had a face book account at one point. Thats about the extent of my usage of online social networks of the myspace variety.

Nope. In my day, it was Geocities (long before it was bought out by Yahoo). At one point I had a LiveJournal. Lost interest in those kinds of things by the time MySpace and its ilk came around. *shrug*

I have one, but don't really go there much, because I spent all my time in here. Plus, it's pretty boring.

I don't do much there because it's not just boring, its downright annoying.

Here are some reasons its annoying:
  • It's overrun with kids
  • songs, damn near every myspace has some loud and annoying song that starts by default when you visit page
  • Half of myspace pages have such a hideous background that the text is nearly unreadable
  • Guest book entries always have pictures from people who thought it made them look cool to post it, which sets page off center

I only started my page to be able to view a friend's page who asked for my opinion (a few years ago). Now I only started frequenting again because of my high school reunion forum they set up in myspace.

Yea, its public too. I don't care who looks at it really. Although if you try and add me...I'll ask how you know me.

When I bother with a Myspace profile, I am definitely having E-mail aimed at a separate address that is not linked to my main ones at any time.

Ironically, MS is doing a decent job at spaces.live.com. If I wanted a full on profile and such, I'd go there before Myspace.

No. Somehow, Rupert Murdoch's space could never really be MY space.
