Can someone please explain where and/or how this whole "I am in yer (something) (doing something to/with) yer (something)" and its variant "I haz a (something) / NOOOO! they took my (something)!" phenomenon got started?

I find it absolutely hysterical; I cannot control myself from guffawing out loud whenever I see a collection of them. But I have no idea why. Or what they mean. Or where they came from.
