Hello from Denver....

Just thought I'd drop a line here. The trip has been great so far. I'm on my way to moab tomorrow morning. After doing some reading, I think most of moab might be out of my skill level. But, they do have an easy trail i'll do, but I thinkI may have to settle for some good hiking instead. Omaha was awsome, I had a killer time there( thanks april for being a great tour guide) Like I just said, I think that I won't be doing as much biking in moab as I thought, but i'll figure it out when I get there. After that, i'll be going to yellowstone, so if anyone here is in any of those areas and would like to meet up, PM me. Hope your all having as much fun as I am! Happy trails

Go into Canyonlands NP and drive down the Shafer Trail if your vehicle is up to it. Park at the botton of the hill and ride out the White Rim Trail road as far as you want then ride back. Awesome. Bring lots of water.

Thanks wnc! I've been reading up on moab, and learned alot. I have a 100 oz backpack that can hold a ton of water, and I may even take a skills course when i'm there. I'm really looking foward to just being there.

Be sure to stop in Loma, CO, right on I-70, and park at the Kokopelli Trailhead and ride Rustlers Bench and Mary's Loop. Awesome views of the Colorado River await.

Don't worry about skill level when mtn biking. It's still riding if your walking your bike!

I'm the biggest chicken on the singletrack and hike-a-bike a lot. Getting out there is most important.
