I rolled my Jeep today :(

But it's OK, the thing is made for it.
Yup, looked just like a poor little turtle on its back.
The really bad part is that the only person around to help was some 16 year old girl in an old beat-all-to-hell Golden Eagle pickup truck. Hooked my wench to her truck and she helped flip the beast back over. Impressvie drivetrain she had there.
A little work and dry time and I was able to drive back to the trailhead and trailer it up.
And I've been feeling al embarrased ever since. and I know how she is going to be bragging to all her friends how she had to help a poor hillbilly out today.
Man am I bummed.
I need a drink.

You might want to rephrase that.

OK
I gently handed her my 9000lb WARN Tool and she slid it into a hole in her rear and began to apply pressure. She pulled and pulled and dug her meats into the soft bedding.
After a few position changes I was off my back with fluids dripping on the ground.
I thanked her and offered her money for her aid but she said that it was most definately her pleasure. She loves to give her older machinery a good workout every once in a while.
I cleaned up some of the mud, made a few adjustments, and am now enjoying a beer at work.

How's that?

Not that I'd trade my scrambler for it.

Hey, much better to be rescued by a girl than to have to walk out and find help.

But... you know. Guy code says I HAVE to make fun of you. It's a legal requirement.

Thanks Donna, but that aint the first time I've flipped a jeep, or that one to be precise, and it likely won't be the last.
I just love the mud crawl get together they have up in Bad Axe. Next time you visit your parents I'll have to take you up there and scare the hell out of you!

It's a Jeep. If you're not flipped over, you didn't try hard enough.
There's no shame in needing a uprighting.

You at least got her CB handle, right?

Did you get the "I'm completely hosed, may as well just be aware of whats going on" moment just prior to rolling?

No pics, sorry. I have quite a bit of photos of it here at work (they sponsor the jeep jamborees and I wear their badge at some events) but I haven't gotten anything online. I rarely have pics of anything online.
Bryan that's a pretty cool rig.
Somewhere out there on the interwebs is a pic of me and a buddy sitting in the bed of his cj20 catfishing, while parked in the middle of the river, and the beer cooler floating and tied to the bumper. heh

Actually it was more of a "wow, this incline is steeper than I thought, and that's one huge ass rock I'm teetering on, I wonder what would happen if I turn my wheel this way..." kind of feeling.

Boy, I ought to slap you silly for that comment!
Looks like he damaged something in that video. heheh

BTW, I helped make those things, for the price, the H2 is nothing. It was actually designed and marketed for suburban women, not for off roading. Technically just a Tahoe with a body kit... and ugly body kit.

Yea, foo is clearly a dark and menacing corner of the internet. Be wary of its word filters and well-wishers.
