    Tonight's beer selection:

Couldn't decide, so went with a lager from microbrew from Lambertville, NJ. River Horse

    And the Brooklyn Brewery Oktoberfest.

I miss Brooklyn Brewery so much. And Lone Star... And cheap dogfish.

Luckily there's a million other good brews to be had. I think I'm going to get some eye of the hawk tonight.

Not in the mood for beer this evening. I'm drinking mead.

Your own beer or is it Boulevard, 75st, or that monkey stuff made in Olathe? Those Pale Ales always taste good. Used to make some 10 gallon batches with a buddy. Some good and some bad. He drank em all.

    Last night it was Scrimshaw:

The night before, an overly-aged batch of Old Rasputin:

    http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/112/412/

(it was uncharacteristically thick in a yucky way, think it was old)

So, tonight it's good ol' Crown 'n' Coke.

The way I see it, there are two different kinds of beer companies:

    - Ones that brew delicious beer
    - Ones that produce fabulous TV commercials.

I don't see the sets intersecting at all. Cheers!

A couple of EKU 28s would be my preference. Sam Adams triple bock is too hard to come by.

BLIMP, since you live in Flag, go hop on your bike and take a ride down to Uptown Billiards. Ally and James will do you right and get you some good brews. One of the first things I learned when experimenting with beer is that Hefeweizen is NOT your friend. It's good for the first summer after you become a beer drinker, but after that, it's time to let them go and start exploring ales. I am very passionate about my beer, and I'd have to say that right now, I'm really big on Belgian Abby Ales (it's that time of year).

I drink plenty of ale. The Arrogant *******s are a personal favorite, Dead Guy Ale is up there too. I like a good spicy weizen though. Uptown Billiards is meh. And this is most certainly not the first summer I've been a "beer drinker".
