Ihop

Does anyone work or knows someone who works at IHOP? I am trying to track down nutritional information on the pancakes. Their website doesn't list it, their Marketing is giving BS answer, and I am not sure where all the other sites got their info thus I don't really trust it.

Doesn't MErider1 work with them? I've found some 3rd-party sources for nutritional info:

CalorieKing - IHOP menu
DietFacts - IHOP buckwheat pancakes

Looks like adding butter and syrup ends up quadrupling the calorie-count:

DailyPlate - IHOP Pancakes, Buttermilk

They're pancakes...

I'd just look on the box of Bisquick or something. Or, go in there and ask. I think they're required by law to have the info around somewhere.

Yeah I saw it, but since IHOP doesn't publish nutritional information how did these places found it? So not sure how accurate it is.

I did ask. When I send email I got some BS reply about it varying by location. When I asked in the restaurant the server had no idea. I guess I'll try again, this time pushing a bit more.

It's not that hard to determine how much carb, protein and fat are in any meal; basic O-chem. Grind it all up and run it through an extraction to separate them. Then weigh the separate little piles.

Somehow I doubt most of these places went to all that trouble. I think what happened is someone posted the information, which probably isn't all that accurate, and then everyone else copied it.

They're pancakes... they have the nutrition of a piece of bread. Maybe.

Just freakin' eat them.

Nutritionally, Ihop pancakes are like a piece of crappy storebought juvenile birthday cake.
