    Exactly one year ago (sept 18), I bought this beauty from Wal-Mart, and started using it to commute to and from the bus stop:



    It broke in six weeks. The rear hub shelled, the rear suspension was clunking, the bottom bracket was ticking, and it was basically a death-trap.

    Then I bought a $100 used MTB that is quite possibly the most rugged machine I've ever owned. Hopefully you have as good luck with your GMC bike as CigTech did (search the commuting forum). Except for the whole getting run over and totalled part. That sucked.
