Motorized Bike section & Bike Building section

I noticed we don't have either. I think it would be nice to add both to this forum.

There are too many forums and sub-forums already.
Commuter/utility/Carfree .... Why three forums
for essentially the same thing ?
Long Distance/Touring. Same thing.
I would like to see about 10 forums combined with other stuff.

We've got a Framebuilders' forum and an Alt Bikes forum. There's also a decent amount of building going on in Utility. I think E-bikes is a far as we're willing to go for motorized bikes. We're not going to delve into the realm of internal combustion engines here, although we know many of you love your motorcycles, scooters, and mopeds as much as your bicycles.

As for why the split between Utility, Living Car Free, and Commuting? Many people don't want to wade through traffic battle stories. Some utilitarians don't wish to deal with the politics of the LCF forum. The LCF forum folks want to dance to the beat of their own drummer. I think the split is the best solution for the present. Who knows what will be different in the future?

What about whizzers? http://www.whizzermotorbike.com/

They offer a retrofit kit for normal bicycles.

I'd like to see those combined, but not in a forum. It would be entertaining as H@ll to throw some of the main players in those forums into a ring and see who's left standing after about an hour

That would either be really cool, or creepy and weird.

I'm willing to take that chance, though.

See, now I'm nt sure if we're talking dead parrots or subforums.

Perhaps the Monty Python forum needs a dead parrot sub-forum. Or possibly one for silly walks.

Poll & vote? Beer & pie? Prioritize!

On second thought, to hell with the red star. Joe finally got his burrito. In before the corporate buy-out! Wheeee!
