Yeah man, so it is now my second week after getting 'transfered' away from my old site where I really had the good life man.. free gourmet krups coffee and tea, internet, no meaningful responsibilities, no need to shower, shave or keep my uniform presentable (or even wear a uniform) -since it was 3rd shift.. man, life was good at my old site, it was like my home away from home -(which wasn't even that far away, btw).
Now I've been sent to some huge skyscraper blding in the middle of downtown Boston. The tours cover over 40 floors and take up to two hours, instead of wearing a clip on tie (or no tie at all) I've got to wear a strap on (yeah, haha). They want to make me a 'supervisor' - which means I've got many more headache for less than one dollar more. No more sleeping, no more disappearing for hours on end.. but my biggest gripe; NO INTERNET, - here they have internet explorer set up with a password to restrict access.. and so that's where my friend 'sea monkey' has come to my salvation.. I got this programme I downloaded from a buddy onto my thumb drive - and all I need do is download it onto the computer, and I am 'reconnected' with the WWW for the duration of my shift. Work is tolerable again, praise jeebus.. Just goes to show that for every obstical the good Lord places in our way, He will often provide for us a way around it. Thanku sea monkey.
