I want a big damn brown coat

I really want one of these. Eventually... It's basically a trench coat [duster] made of brown suede. I've found some nice replicas but $400... JEEEZ.

Haha, I'm such a geek, and +800 to anyone who knows what I'm talking about.
"big damn ___" is a reference.

just the coat, and I'd actually wear it. My favorite coat which was a super warm lined trench coat from the surplus store has gone missing. In the mean time, I'm going to have to get another.

I'm perfectly happy with my black M-65, besides, can you wear something like that while riding?

I know you can ride a horse with one on but as near as I can recall, horses don't have hungry chains and cogs to eat dangly things.

Once I changed search to "men's western wear clothing duster", I got lots of hits. Check it out...many more still.

Cypress is so socially adept he's not allowed to wear anything longer than a matador's jacket.

What are people wearing trench coats trying to hide?

I view guys in trench coats the same way i see those girls who hide their hands in their sweaters and cross their arms.

Body language, all very subtle...but it's there if you look hard enough.

This of course excludes fat old business types

Maybe because Montana probably has the highest concentration of Western Trench coats anywhere in the USA?
