Don't be afraid of the Daisy Rock guitar. I had one of the Retro-H Pink Ltd. Ed. guitars. Very well built & great sound.

I have an Epi SG with a set of EMG humbucker pickups, that gets played through a five-watt Epiphone Valve Junior tube amp. I also have a Washburn acoustic-electric that gets played through a Washburn acoustic amp. For effects, I have a Digitech RP 300 that does everything and rarely gets used other than for reverb, delay and chorus. Other stuff around includes an upright piano, a drumset, and my Dad's Washburn.

PLEASE don't buy a BC Rich. They're ugly as hell, and not real great. Get an Epiphone or something.
