First of all, it's good to see pirates stepping up to nip this global warming issue in the bud.

Second, I can't see my booty! Can someone watch it for me, please?

Incorrect.

Lack of pirates is causing global warming.

Same thing....it's like those kind of words that sound similar and mean the same thing. Like flammable and inflammable.

I posted it at work a year or more ago and it was up for nearly a year and still nobody had noticed. I finally had to point it out to people myself (after like 9 or 10 months).

Dang it, and the wife and I were planning on putting on our solid mink sailor outfits and sailing our diamond crusted titanium yatch to Somalia this weekend, as were are running low on khat, or chat as you may call it.

A summation for those of you to lazy/afraid to click on the link provided: pirate attacks are up 14% this year, compared to the same time frame from last year. 14%!!! If that's not proof for the superiority/moar betterness of pirates over ninjas, I don't know what is. You don't hear about any additional ninja attacks, do you? That's because pirates are killing them all off!

Excuse me while I go check on my booty. I suggest you all do the same.

People, please. You know me better than this. The only way to check out my booty is to have the requisite booty/treasure map. I have safe-guarded this map from both pirates AND Foo. As a substitute, I offer up the map leading to explody pup's booty. If you can get past the booby traps and questionable smells, you can thank me later.

Zim: I put the fires out
Tallest: You made them worse
Zim: Worse... OR BETTER?

also, there is always an escape from pirates.

Ninjas.

That's why I always keep Ghost Dog on retainer.

Sorry to derail the thread with a serious comment, but here goes my rant-

They actually had an article about that in Small Arms Review some time ago. Basically, if you travel the ocean, you should plan on being able to out gun pirates.

If you can afford a yacht, you can afford a semi automatic M2HB, and a 12 gauge pump or semi auto for everyone on board, and maybe a longer range scoped rifle.

A relative of mine used to be a big time drug dealer, and he had a boat he traveled all over the place in. He said the thing about pirates is that like all criminals, they are stupid, and typically lack the resources to even do their criminal trade very well. He said it shouldn't normally be too hard to out gun them if you chose to be prepared.

Out gun? I would rather just out run as it would be far more fun.
